The Blessing of the Animals

Everyone in Tallahassee is invited to join us at St. John’s on Saturday, September 28, at 11 AM, for the Blessing of the Animals, an event we hold annually close to the Feast of St. Francis. Bring your furry, scaly, and feathered friends! Please ensure pets are leashed or crated.

There will be a Pet Memorial service for lost pets, and a Blessing of our current pets to follow at 11:30 AM.

• There will be a Pet Memorial service for lost pets.
• The Blessing will take place at 11:30 AM with a brief blessing service and individual blessings of the animals.
• Each pet blessed will receive a St. Francis medal.
• There will be several booths and adoptable animals.
