Vacation Bible School 2024

June 24 @ 5:30 pm - June 28 @ 7:30 pm

Grab your flashlight and let’s explore Camp Firelight at this year’s Vacation Bible School!

This year, VBS will be held in the evening from 5:30-8:00 PM at St. John’s. Our 2024 theme, “Camp Firelight,” centers around God’s presence in the lives of children.

During each session VBS campers learn to face their fears while trusting in God. Each day at Camp Firelight our leaders teach us to face new challenges, from as simple as leading Campers on a hike to as intimidating as meeting a new and wise nature expert. With the help of Lu, the Lightning Bug, Campers explore timeless Bible stories showing how Old and New Testament Campers trusted God, faced their fears, and went on to do great things in God’s name.

As Campers experience the stories through drama and storytelling, games, arts and crafts, science, and even dinner, they learn ways to connect with and trust God. And best of all, they understand they can connect with God at VBS, church, home, and every area of their lives. Camp Firelight is open to ALL rising PK4 through rising 5th graders. There is NO charge for children to attend VBS! Dinner is included. Friends are invited, too!

If you have children or grandchildren who would like to participate, you can register them through our online portal.
